Elkhorn Valley Rehabilitation Hospital is currently looking for a Central Supply Supervisor.  This position is solely responsible for our Central Supply department to include ordering, tracking and stocking inventory in accordance with hospital standards and guidelines.  Central Supply orders necessary supplies for all hospital departments, checks-in supplies against purchase order, tags inventory for appropriate charges and tracks all inventory (in-coming and out-going) electronically.  The Central Supply Supervisor tracks and provides monthly data to CFO for UR and presents monthly at new employee orientation educating new staff on the process of tracking chargeable items and inventory tracking.  Position performs quarterly and annual inventory, which may require working weekends, depending upon the date. 

Position requires excellent time management, attention to detail and effective communication with department directors, managers, supervisors and employees as well maintaining and/or establishing professional relationships with vendors.  Above average ability and knowledge with computers including inventory tracking , vendor websites and excel.

Prefer two years' experience in material management in a hospital setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.     

Skills / Requirements

Prefer a minimum of two years' experience in materials management in a hospital setting.  Understanding of treatment costs and financial support as it relates to quality and efficiency.  Computer skills, leadership and organizational skills.  Excellent time management, and communication skills.
