Job Description

The Clinical Liaison achieves specific admission results by selling and marketing our rehabilitation programs and services to healthcare practitioners. This is a BONUS ELIGIBLE position based on achieving admission targets.

Essential Functions:

    • Maintains a sales territory as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Business Development (DMBD). Sales territories are dynamic in nature and may change based upon the needs of the market and the facility.
    • Exhibits professionalism and develops long term business relationships with referral sources. Develops, implements, evaluates and refines territory sales plans based upon data, trends, market needs, and facility needs.
    • Understands expected goals and monitors achievement for sales contacts, referrals, admissions, conversions, outpatient visits, etc. Accepts responsibility and accountability for territory.
    • Participates in and completes training initiatives to enhance core competencies as assigned by the DMBD.
    • Effectively utilizes Salesforce.com to track sales activity, maintain client profiles, develop sales plans, and ensure compliance with company’s standards of Business Conduct. General expectation is for sales activity to be reported by day-end for each scheduled workday, and for monthly sale plans to be developed the 1st business day of each month.
    • Completes accurate pre-admission evaluations in a timely manner. Demonstrates the highest degree of customer service and professionalism to our customers (referrals sources, patients/families, payers, etc.). Ensure preadmission process complies with regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinates specific marketing and public relations activities such as exhibits at conferences, seminars/in-services, advertising, media relations, government relations, etc. as assigned by the DMBD.
    • Participates in program development initiatives as assigned by the DMBD.
    • Meets all deadlines related to reports, plans, projects and related job responsibilities.
    • Attends and actively participates in weekly sales meetings and other meetings as determined by the DMBD.
    • Maintains high ethical standards in selling our program and services. Understands and follows the company’s Standards of Business Conduct.
    • Provides an environment conductive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assess the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions. Complies with appropriate and approved safety standards.
    • Maintains a positive work environment by leading by example, acting in a fair and consistent manner, and inspiring confidence and respect. Demonstrates effective communication, which includes presenting ideas and plans with poise, logic and confidence and using professional tone and vocabulary. Demonstrates ability to be flexible, positive and creative in meeting changing requirements necessary to meet goals and objectives.

Skills / Requirements

  • Three (3) to five (5) years healthcare experience. Healthcare sales experienced preferred.
  • Clinical licensure required; RN or RT preferred. Valid drivers’ license in the State of New Mexico required. Proof of automobile insurance required. Clean Driving Record required.
