ABOUT OUR HOSPITAL Rehabilitation Hospital of the Northwest (RHN) is a 30-bed, Rehabilitation Hospital located in Post Falls, ID, opened in December 2013. Our hospital provides specialized rehabilitative services to patients throughout Idaho and surrounding states who are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions. This includes strokes, orthopedic, brain and spinal cord injuries, along with chronic illnesses such as cerebral palsy, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.  The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission, and was ranked in the Top 10% of inpatient rehabilitation facilities in the nation for its patient care for the third year in a row by the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR).

ABOUT OUR SEARCH This position is responsible for maintaining and coordinating the daily operations of the HIM Department. Maintains a working knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements and prepared reports to insure department standards are met. Solid coding experience is required.


  • Two years medical records experience and two years of medical coding experience required.
  • RHIA or RHIT certification preferred.
  • CCS preferred as additional credential.
  • Experience in a management role.
