Inpatient Rehabilitation Services:  At Laredo Rehabilitation Hospital, we provide inpatient rehabilitation to people recovering from disabling diseases and injuries, such as strokes, orthopedic, brain, and spinal cord injuries. In addition, we treat individuals who may have chronic illnesses such as cerebral palsy, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), multiple sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease.

Laredo Rehabilitation Hospital ranked in the top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care for its 1st eligible year.  The ranking is by the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR), a not-for-profit corporation that was developed with support from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation research, a component of the U.S. Department of Education. The UDSMR ranks rehabilitation facilities based upon care that is:

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the Human Resources Department in regards to recruitment; the pre-employment and hiring process; maintains employees’ personnel and benefit files; tracks compliance documents and ensures compliance is met; assist in employee relations issues; adheres to Federal / State laws; and ensures Hospital and Ernest Health policies are followed.  Comprehends and adheres to all Human Resources, Joint Commission standards, State and Federal laws.Participates in departmental or facility meetings for the purpose of gaining knowledge and awareness of the needs of the departments.  Monitor current licenses/certifications for all clinicians and verify with state board as necessary.  Monitors, tracks and ensures competencies and job descriptions are completed timely. Coordinate and ensure Department Orientation(s), Hospital Orientation(s), Annual Orientation and annual competencies are completed and conducted timely.Files workers’ compensation claims with carrier timely. Assists Regional HR with leave administration (FMLA, Medical non-FMLA, Personal Leave and Military Leave). Educates employees and management regarding leave policies and eligibility. Other duties as assigned.


  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related degree and one (1) year Human Resources experience required; or three (3) years direct Human Resources experience required.
