Job Description


The Outpatient Physical Therapist - (FT) provides services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Examines patient's medical history, evaluates their physical abilities, determines their potential to respond to therapy, and develops treatment plans. 

We are seeking a physical therapist to join our outpatient team in providing both general ortho and neurological rehabilitation. This is a dynamic team of therapists equipped with the latest technology for neuro recovery (i.e., ZERO-G Gait and Balance System), a 9000 sq. ft. gym space, and a warm water pool for aquatic therapy. The therapist will provide one-on-one individual care to their patients for one-hour sessions to deliver high quality and effective treatment in an optimal environment that is all about the patient.

Skills / Requirements

Minimum Work Experience

One (1) year recent experience in the care of patients in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Current State of Arizona license as an Physical Therapist is required.
  • Current BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required

Required Skills/Knowledge/Ability

  • Proficient use of appropriate forms in documenting care and medical necessity.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and care.
  • Ability to demonstrate clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Knowledgeable about accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standard set forth by the state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions
