Our Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Facility, located in Johnstown, Colorado was designed solely for the provision of specialized rehabilitative care, is the only freestanding acute rehabilitation hospital serving northern Colorado. Since opening its doors in 2005, our hospital has been rated in the top 10% of all inpatient rehab facilities in the United Stated for 12 consecutive years! Through our inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs, we are able to utilize our unique design and responsive environment to help patients recover quickly and return home with a renewed sense of self-sufficiency.


Under the direction of the Food Service Manager, this position prepares or directs preparation of regular or special foods according to prescribed menus and recipes.

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent in education or experience.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Ability

  • Follows established schedules in cooking, baking, sanitation.
  • Prepare meals according to specified menu and schedule with a minimum of waste.
  • Follows procedures in food cooling, hot food holding, and prevention of cross contamination. Follow all local and state health regulations.
  • Provides an environment conductive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assess the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions. Complies with appropriate and approved safety standards.
