Ernest Health owns and operates community-based acute rehabilitation and long-term acute care facilities in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Montana, New Mexico, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Wyoming. ABOUT OUR HOSPITAL
Rehabilitation Hospital of the Northwest (RHN) is a 30-bed, Rehabilitation Hospital located in Post Falls, ID, opened in the December 2013. Our facility is designed solely for the provision of specialized rehabilitative care. The facility’s unique design will foster a comfortable and responsive environment for our patients. Our hospital provides rehabilitative services for patients with functional deficits as a result of debilitating illnesses, or injuries. Through our inpatient rehabilitation programs, we help patients recover quickly and return home with a renewed sense of self-sufficiency.

The Position:

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients through the use of the nursing process and supports ANA standards of nursing. Therefore, the Registered Nurse is responsible for assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning and help the patient adapt to an altered life style. The Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing patient care provided through support personnel. The RN provides care to adolescents through geriatric age patients. This goal is met by cooperation and communication with inter-and-intra-departmental staff, patients and families.

Required Licenses and Certifications:
•Current Idaho state license as a registered nurse.
•Current CPR certification (through American Heart Association or Red Cross).
•CRRN certification highly desired.
