Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are currently looking for a Full time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. Our Speech Therapists are an integral part of our interdisciplinary team and are responsible for evaluating our patient’s communication, cognition and swallowing abilities and planning, organizing, coordinating, and administering goal-directed activities and treatment plans to promote and restore optimum independence in daily life tasks on both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the only free-standing acute rehabilitation hospital in the state of Wyoming and treat a wide variety of patients. We are Stroke Certified,and we are looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Skills / Requirements
Our Speech Language Pathologists must be able to assess, plan and coordinate the care of patients with a variety of functional deficits. Must be able to communicate and educate the patient, family and other members of the interdisciplinary team regarding the treatment goals and strategies to promote maximum functional independence. Must be a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Wyoming, Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, and have current BLS/CPR card.
